Oilrove Products

Oilrove, Sensyn’s innovative sensing technology, offers a revolutionary solution to the challenges of detecting leaks in liquid hydrocarbon pipelines. Using a novel patented polymer, Oilrove detects unwanted liquid hydrocarbons with unparalleled sensitivity, ensuring precise and reliable leak detection without false alarms. Its adaptability makes it suitable for brownfield and greenfield installations, whether buried underground, installed above ground, or deployed in subaquatic environments. Oilrove is designed to withstand harsh climate conditions and environmental elements, ensuring consistent performance in any environment.

Oilrove is available in two formats

Oilrove Cable

The Oilrove Cable comes with a maximum of 5 km

Oilrove Stand

The Oilrove Stand is designed for monitoring localized leaks

Applications for Oilrove Cable

Versatile application adaptable for both existing and new pipelines. Suitable for various industries.

Monitoring tailings pipelines and containment areas in oil sands operations for leaks of hydrocarbons and by-products.

This prevents contamination of water bodies and surrounding ecosystems, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and reducing clean-up costs.

The sensing cable can be installed around large storage tanks or along containment bunds to detect leaks from pipelines, valves, or tank walls holding hydrocarbons.

Early detection helps prevent large-scale environmental contamination and minimizes the risk of operational disruptions at oil refineries and petrochemical plants.

Offshore Pipelines and Facilities

Our technology is ideal for monitoring pipelines under the sea or near coastal facilities for hydrocarbon leakage.

This prevents water contamination and mitigates environmental hazards in sensitive marine ecosystems due to oil spills.

Our solution is designed to monitor underground piping networks in refineries for potential hydrocarbon leaks, especially in hazardous areas.

This prevents costly shutdowns and enhances operational safety by catching small leaks before they become catastrophic.

Detecting leaks of hydrocarbons in chemical and petrochemical plants, where various liquid hydrocarbons are processed.

Prevents accidents and ensures regulatory compliance by providing immediate alerts on leakage incidents in highly hazardous areas.

Applications for Oilrove Stand

Standalone sensors can be placed around isolated or remote oil wells to detect leaks of crude oil or gasoline in areas far from main facilities.

Provides early warning for leaks in remote locations, enabling quicker response times for leak containment.

Standalone sensors can be used around underground fuel storage tanks at gas stations to detect gasoline or diesel fuel leakage.

Prevents soil contamination and groundwater pollution, mitigating potential health hazards and environmental risks from fuel spills.

Monitoring for hydrocarbon spills in marine terminals where oil tankers load/unload crude oil or refined products.

Provides real-time detection of spills, allowing rapid response to prevent contamination of the marine environment.

Detecting leaks in pipelines, valves, and equipment at facilities where crude oil is stored and transported.

Prevents environmental disasters by quickly detecting spills at high-volume transfer points, such as pump stations and depots.

Detecting leaks of hydrocarbons in chemical and petrochemical plants, where various liquid hydrocarbons are processed.

Prevents accidents and ensures regulatory compliance by providing immediate alerts on leakage incidents in highly hazardous areas.

Oilrove Technology Readiness Level

Currently, Sensyn is developing multiple technologies at different Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) to detect unwanted hydrocarbons in gas or liquid form. Oilrove is one of these technologies, focusing on liquid hydrocarbon detection, and is currently at TRL 5. To advance Oilrove to TRL 6 and beyond, Sensyn is ready to launch and seeks partnerships with oil and gas companies. We invite input, feedback, and suggestions to tailor our solution to meet specific operational needs effectively.
